Stoned Mob Assaults GOP Rep

A Republican congressman says protesters assaulted him in his office. The thugs shoved open the door to Maryland Rep. Andy Harris’s Capitol Hill office on Tuesday, assaulting him, but not injuring him. Media reports state that Harris was trying to hold his office door closed as the crowd of pot smoking demonstrators shoved their way. This comes about a week after Sen. Ted Cruz was mobbed out of a D.C. restaurant by an angry crowd of anti-Kavanaugh thugs.

McConnell: Senate Will Vote Soon

Mitch McConnell says the Senate will cast the Kavanaugh vote this week. The Senate Majority Leader on Monday made it clear he has no intention of delaying the confirmation vote on the full Senate floor any longer, despite objections by Democrats desperate to string out the process through the November midterms. The FBI is conducting an expanded investigation of Brett Kavanaugh’s background—the seventh such background check the SCOTUS nominee has gone through in his career. That probe is expected to wrap up yet this week.

Rosenstein Meeting Delayed

President Trump postponed his meeting with Rod Rosenstein, which was set for Thursday. The two were supposed to meet to mull over Rosenstein’s future, but you might have heard there was a hearing going on. According to White House Sarah Sanders, Trump didn’t want to do anything to interrupt or interfere with the remarks by Kavanaugh and his accuser. But on Wednesday, the president offered a hint at the embattled bureaucrat’s fate: “My preference would be to keep him,” Trump told reporters. Rosenstein has fallen out of favor with the president because he oversees Robert Mueller’s investigation of alleged collusion between Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russian agents. Sanders said the two will likely meet next week.

Antifa Threatens Cruz On Twitter

Hot on the heels of running Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife out of a D.C. restaurant while screaming “we believe survivors,” a branch of the left-wing Antifa group issued a threat to the Texas Republican. Along with a recording of the restaurant mob scene, Smash Racism DC tweeted that Cruz is “not safe” and that his votes are “hate crimes.” That’s an apparent reference to a zero tolerance immigration policy by the Trump administration that separated illegal alien families over the summer. But the left-wing mob, in true mob form, is seemingly unaware that Cruz proposed legislation to keep illegal immigrant families together.

—QUOTABLE: “This is a message to Ted Cruz, Bret [sic] Kavanaugh, Donald Trump and the rest of the racist, sexist, transphobic, and homophobic right-wing scum: You are not safe. We will find you. We will expose you. We will take from you the peace you have taken from so many others.” -Another Smash Racism DC tweet

Porn Lawyer Jumps In Bed With New Kavanaugh Accuser

The lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels claims to be representing a third Kavanaugh accuser. Michael Avenatti, a prominent foe of President Trump and attorney for the former adult film star who claims to have had an affair with the president years ago, says the new allegation will be coming out of the woodwork in the next 48 hours. Avenatti, also known at “the creepy porn lawyer,” told reporters on Monday the supposed new accuser is a former employee of the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Mint and has information of a sexual nature about both Kavanaugh and longtime friend, Mark Judge. She will be “100 percent credible,” Avenatti said.
