Diddy Hosts Memorial

Sean Combs aka Diddy hosted a private memorial for the mother of his three children, Kim Porter. The event, which was attended by French Montana, Mary J. Blige and Pharrell, was filled with photos, memories and sentimental stories. As previously reported, Kim was found dead in her home last Thursday. The mom of four had been suffering from flu-like symptoms. The official cause of death will be known in 4-6 weeks when the toxicology reports come back.

Investigation Into Kim Porter’s Death

An additional investigation has been ordered in the death of Kim Porter. The Los Angeles County Coroner has “deferred” the model’s cause of death for further testing. Previous reports said that Diddy’s ex was being treated by her doctor for flu-like symptoms prior to her passing. The 47-year-old was found dead in her home on Thursday, after first responders were called over a potential cardiac arrest. While there is an ongoing investigation, detectives told E! News that they do not suspect foul play.
MEANWHILE—Sean Combs aka Diddy released a statement about Kim’s death on Sunday. The 49-year-old posted on Instagram writing, “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I miss you so much. We were more than best friends, we were more than soul mates.” Sean and Kim were together for ten years, breaking up in 2007. They had three children together.

Diddy Rallies For Florida’s Gillum

Diddy is rallying for Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. Sean “Diddy” Combs held a rally on Monday for the Democrat candidate and current Tallahassee mayor and was joined by Tiffany Haddish, DJ Khaled, Will Packer, and someone called Monica at the Florida A&M University event. Diddy said Gillum would be the first black governor of the Sunshine State, but he wasn’t endorsing him because of that—he also says Gillum is the “best man for the job.” Gillum, who has run into ethics troubles after FBI probes into corruption in Tallahassee city government, is in a tight race with Republican Ron DeSantis, but has been leading most of the polls.
