The flogging will continue until Dems regain power, says Hillary Clinton. In an interview with Clinton News Network’s Christiane Amanpour, the twice-failed presidential candidate rejected the idea that the country should return to civility after the Kavanaugh confirmation circus. Civility can only return when Democrats take control of Congress, she argued. The Clintons on Monday announced a 13-stop comedy tour—speaking tour—called “an evening with the Clintons.” Tickets start at $250,000 or three tons of uranium ore.
—QUOTABLE: “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about…That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.” -HRC
Clinton indicated she’s still harboring a 25 year old vendetta against the GOP: “I remember what they did to me for 25 years — the falsehoods, the lies, which unfortunately people believe because the Republicans have put a lot of time, money, and effort in promoting them.”
