Justin Timberlake is out with a new photo book, chronicling some big moments from his rocket-ship ride to superstardom. One of the major revelations surrounds ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. It’s been long speculated that his 2002 hit “Cry Me A River” is about her, but in the book he reveals he wrote it two hours after they called it quits. He doesn’t name her directly, but given the timing and the blonde Britney lookalike who appears in the song’s music video, everyone knows who he’s talking about.
Britney Spears is starting a new residency in Las Vegas. This time she’ll be at MGM. Insiders say the “Britney: Domination” show will have an “urban” and “hip-hop” vibe reflected in the sets, choreography, and wardrobe. Two of the producers behind Jennifer Lopez’s Vegas residency are on hand to produce Britney’s. The residency starts in February and will run through August.
Britney Spears made a major announcement on the Ellen Degeneres show on Friday: which is that she’s making a major announcement on October 18, when a video with all the details will appear on Ellen’s youtube channel. Britney could be due for another Vegas residency, or possibly be putting out new music. Or something else entirely.
It might just be that LAURA WASSER is very busy — she’s also representing BRITNEY SPEARS in court, defending her against ex-husband KEVIN FEDERLINE’s requests for increased child support. Her camp already shells out $20,000 a month, pays for tuition, extracurriculars, clothings, school supplies, and activities, so none of the support would actually be going to the kids anyway.
MEANWHILE — Due to filings in the case, we know just how much Britney earned in 2017. Grand total: $56,562,912.38.
