Dolly Parton’s Brother Has Died

Dolly Parton’s brother has died.

Floyd Estel Parton passed away on Thursday December 6 at the age of 61. No cause of death was revealed.

He is remembered as an “avid outdoorsman” and “an incredible cook.” Floyd shared in his family’s love of music and even wrote the song “Rockin’ Years” which was recorded by his sister, Dolly.

Mel B in Bed

Former Spice Girl Mel B is laid up in the hospital for broken ribs and a severed right hand, but no one is sure why. The former pop star posted a pic to Instagram of her arm in a giant sling and a bit about what she was in the hospital for, but without giving an explanation why. One friend tells TMZ Mel was staying with friends and took a tumble down the stairs. 

A pic was later posted of the other three Spice Girls, without Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham, by their friend’s bedside. They’re gearing up for a reunion tour next summer.

Emilie de Ravin Welcomes Son

Emilie de Ravin and Eric Bilitch have welcomed a son. Theodore Kubrick de Ravin-Bilitch was born on Sunday. The “LOST” actress and Eric both share the news on their Instagram pages.

Theodore joins 2-year-old big sister Vera Audrey de Ravin-Bilitch.

Cardi B & Offset Are Done

Cardi B and Offset are calling it quits. Cardi took to Instagram to announce the two are no longer together, saying she has “been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now” and adding “I guess we grew out of love.”

The parents of 4-month-old Kulture were secretly married in September 2017 and didn’t confirm the marriage until June 2018.

Red Robin Franchisee Dead

Michael J. Snyder has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Michael is known for being the first franchisee of the Red Robin restaurant chain in 1979 and later became CEO and President in 2000.

He was ousted in 2005 after an internal investigation discovered he had misused funds and charter planes.

He was 68-years-old.

Nicki Who?

Safaree has moved on from Nicki Minaj. The rapper was spotted hand in hand with reality star Erica Mena at the Jazz-Nets game on Wednesday night. While there were reportedly “immediate fireworks” the two are not yet calling one another boyfriend and girlfriend.

The relationship will be a focal point on future episodes of “Love & Hip-Hop,” of which they both appear.

Quentin Tarantino Gets Hitched

Quentin Tarantino, 55, is off the market. The Hollywood director married his longtime girlfriend Daniella Pick, 35, Wednesday night. A source told E! News the couple exchanged “I Dos” in a private ceremony, with only about 20 people in attendance, including Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth and Eli Roth. The newlyweds, who got engaged last year, have been together since 2009.

SpongeBob Creator Has Died

The man behind the Nickelodeon hit show “SpongeBob SquarePants” has died. Stephen Hillenburg passed away on Monday of complications from ALS, which Stephen revealed he had been diagnosed with in March of last year. He was 57.

ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a progressive nervous system (neurological) disease that destroys nerve cells and causes disability.

Vernita Lee, RIP

Vernita Lee has died — that’s Oprah’s mom. She was 83, and passed on Thanksgiving Day. The family confirmed the death today.

Oprah had a complicated relationship with Lee, who she first met when she was six years old, only to be put up for adoption shortly after. The family lived at the time in Milwaukee.

In 1990, The Great Woman absolved her birth-mother on her TV show, and rumor has it she paid for her condo in Milwaukee.

The family is asking that any memorial donations be made to the charity Feeding America.

Joshua Jackson’s New Gal

Joshua Jackson was spotted hand in hand with actress Jodie Turner-Smith–actress from TNT’s “The Last Ship”–over the weekend. The 90’s heartthrob was reportedly all smiles and they seemed to really enjoy each other’s company. Joshua split from Diane Kruger two years ago after being together for 10 years.
