Reality Family’s Fake Home Sold for Millions

The original home of America’s First Reality Family aka The Kardashians has sold for $5.25 Million.

The home, which was featured as a backdrop in the opening credits of the first few seasons of the hit E! show, was not the reality family’s real crib, but used so no one knew where the family actually resided.

According to TMZ, the home is located in Studio City and has also been featured in a Victoria Secret commercial.

Desperate Housewife Desperate To Sell Home

Eva Longoria may no longer be a “Desperate Housewife,” but she is desperately trying to sell her Hollywood Hills home. There are 2 houses on the 3-acre property, a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom country home and a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom French villa. Add in the 2 standalone studios, cottage, panoramic views, pool and storybook bridge—the $9.8 Million price tag seems like a steal.

Drake’s Add On

The renovation plans for Drake’s Toronto mansion are insane. The 35,000 square foot home includes 2 saunas, a massage room, 10-car garage, elevator, gym, screening room and full basketball court. The singer is now working on his master suite which reportedly will be 941 square feet—taking up about half of the second floor. He requested that it include his own private stairwell, 2 dressing rooms, 2 closets, a steam shower, 2 balconies and an outdoor hot tub and kitchenette. The 32-year-old purchased the home in 2017 for $4 Million and has had it under construction ever since.

Aretha’s Estate Sells Detroit Mansion

Aretha Franklin’s historic mansion in Detroit has sold for $300k. The 5,600 square foot home is located next to the Detroit Golf Club and was reportedly the last property owned by the late entertainer in Detroit. The Queen of Soul passed away earlier this year after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 76-years-old.

Cardi’s Childhood Dream

Cardi B has fulfilled a childhood dream of buying her mom a new house. The 26-year-old said that she wanted to make sure she could afford what her mom deserved in a home before “laying down the cash.” She added that it makes her so happy to think that her daughter will get to enjoy the home as well, when she visits her grandma.

Bachelor Mansion Still Standing

The Bachelor Mansion is under 24/7 security to avoid looters hitting the famous home. There have been serious issues with looting in the neighborhoods that have been hit by the Woolsey Fire because so many security systems are down and owners have not been able to return to their homes. TMZ reports that the main house used in “The Bachelor” is still standing, but some of the property and pool area have been burned.

Actor’s Home Among Those Burned

Gerard Butler returned to his California home, only to find it burnt to a crisp. The “300” star posted a devastating photo of what was left of his house in Malibu, which was still smoldering when he arrived. He said that half of his property is gone and called it a “heartbreaking” time in the Golden State. Trying to stay positive amid the extreme loss, he thanked the Los Angeles Fire Department and asked all his Instagram followers to support them, if they could.

Sopranos Star Sues Over Cement

The two construction companies that worked on the home of “Sopranos” star Annabella Sciorra are being sued. Central Construction Management and B&Z Industries are on the wrong end of a $100k lawsuit for allegedly allowing wet cement to get inside the actress’ home. In court documents obtained by TMZ, it is clear the blame lies solely on the construction companies, “due to negligence and failure to provide reasonable protection” to the interior of the home

New Jersey Mansion For Sale

Amid a bitter divorce battle, Danielle Staub has learned her ex, Marty Caffrey, listed their $2 million New Jersey mansion for sale. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star did not know the house was listed until she read about it online, which is a big problem as she still resides in the home with her youngest daughter. The 66-year-old filed for divorce from the 56-year-old reality star in August; only four months after saying “I Do.” The pair also took out restraining orders against each other, following a domestic dispute in July. The orders have since been dropped. When asked by People Magazine, why he listed the home without telling his soon to be ex-wife, Marty simply said, “Danielle’s version is untrue and other than that I have no comment.”

Marijuana Mansions

There will soon be weed-friendly mansions in the Los Angeles area. Ray Nosrati of Huntington Estate Properties is planning to build 5 marijuana mansions, each containing a cannabis conservatory. Ray is looking to sell the homes to active and retired athletes who want to take advantage of the healing plant without ever having to get off their couch. The first two homes are on track to be completed by next summer and will be listed between $30-40 Million.

Demi from the Block

Demi Lovato is having trouble selling the house where she almost overdosed and died, but the spooky history has nothing to do with sales problems. She converted the garage into a space for security and a “glam room,” so there’s no covered parking for a car. Additionally, a security gate apparently encroaches on public land. She’s already knocked a half-million off the asking price, down to $8.5 million — and no doubt getting the house up to spec will cost even more.

Underwood, Forever

Carrie Underwood is getting ready to move into her “forever” home — the last house she’ll need or want. She and husband Mike Fischer have been staying in a barn house on the enormous property until the main house is completed — which appears to now be the case. Moving trucks have been on the property for a few days. Construction on the mansion began two years ago. In a 2016 social media post, she said it had to have a wood burning fireplace, a porch swing, and rocking chairs.

Mac’s Home For Rent

The home where Mac Miller died has hit the market. The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house in San Fernando Valley is up for rent for $9,595 a month. The 3,156 square foot home has panoramic city and canyon views, a private courtyard and a built-in brick BBQ. Anyone looking to rent the home will be notified of the death because there is a law in California that requires realtors to disclose to anyone buying or renting a home that someone died there within 3 years of a transaction.

Blac Chyna’s New Home

Blac Chyna is prepping to move into her new digs. According to TMZ, the 30-year-old dropped $3 million on a 7,054 square foot home in San Fernando Valley. The home includes 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a 2-bedroom guest house and a custom-built glass wine cellar. Maybe BC plans to film some more drunken “go vote” videos from the cellar.

Stormi’s Parents Bought a Mansion

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott just dropped a fortune on a new home. The new parents purchased a Beverly Hills mansion for a whopping $13.45 million. That price got them a 2,300 square foot master bedroom, multi-car garage, gym, massage room and much, much more. This is the first property that the couple has owned together.

Jeter Selling His Castle

Derek Jeter is selling his 11,000 square foot summer home in New York. The castle-like home belonged to Jeter’s grandfather and the 44-year-old bought it from him in 2002. As part-owner of the Miami Marlins, he just doesn’t have time to “sit on a throne anymore” so he is looking to part ways. The 6-bedroom, 4-kitchen palace that features a game room, sunroom, gym and bar is on the market for $14.75 Million.

Justin’s New Digs

Justin Bieber is renting new digs in L.A. He’s spending $100,000 a month on a 6,000 square foot pad in Tinseltown with 7 bedrooms and 4 baths. He’s been living out of hotels when he’s in town to be with new wife Hailey Baldwin, and he wanted something more stable — but apparently not enough to buy quite yet.

Becks Sells Mansion

David Beckham is selling his $33 million Beverly Hills estate. The mansion boasts 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and a library. Since he’s been playing in Florida and his kids spend most of his time in London, rumor is he and wife Victoria Beckham just aren’t getting use out of the space, which they bought in 2007 when he first signed a $250 million contract for $22 million.
