Steelers Considering Transition Tag on Bell

The Pittsburgh Steelers are setting themselves up for another offseason of drama with star running back Le’Veon Bell if they use their transition tag on him.

By doing this the Steelers would be allowed to match any offer made for the services of one of the Steelers most important offensive weapons.

Bell sat out the entire 2018 season after the Steelers placed the transition tag on him for the second season in a row and Bell refused to play for the money on his current contract and failing to reach a long-term agreement.

Bell, who will turn 27 on February 18th, had has at least 1,200 yards from scrimmage four time sin five seasons with the Steelers lead the NFL with 406 touches and tied his career high in touchdowns with 11 in 2017.
