Colts’ Big First Half Sinks Texans

The Indianapolis Colts rode a 21-point first half to advance to the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoff by beating their division rival Houston Texans 21-7 on Saturday night.

Colts’ QB Andrew Luck passed for 222 yards and two touchdowns and running back Marlon Mack had 154 yards from scrimmage and one score.

While the Texans defense pitched a shutout in the second half their offense lead by QB Deshaun Watson struggled mightily against a stout Colts defense and didn’t score their first touchdown until late in the 3rd quarter.

The Texans who were favored in this matchup won the AFC South after starting the season 0-3.

The Colts will travel to Kansas City next week to take on the number one seeded Chiefs lead by MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes in the divisional round of the AFC Playoffs.
