Price to Remain in Boston

Boston Red Sox lefty David Price silenced his critics with a dominant performance in the post season but has decided to remain with the Red Sox and not test the free agent market to see if that performance can pay off for him.

Price has had an icy relationship with fans and media since signing a $217 million-dollar deal, but winning cures all as Price has decided to honor the remaining 4 years on his current contract.

At 33, Price will earn $127 million dollars over the final 4 years of his contract and made the smart play as its unlikely teams would’ve have invested that type of money in him long-term given his age.
