Dems are divided on whether to impeach Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Despite absolutely zero evidence to justify so much as a wag of the finger, some lefties are insisting that should they retake congress next month, Kavanaugh should be brought up on charges. Hair on fire leftist, some elected, think that would be a great way to win over a battle-weary American middle. But others, like Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware, say not so fast—it’s the wrong message to send a month before an election. And Sen. Lindsey Graham echoed him, saying every Democrat running in a swing district should have to answer whether they’d support impeachment.
—QUOTABLE: “I think that’s premature…I think frankly we are just less than a month away from an election. Folks who feel very strongly one way or the other about the issues in front of us should get out and vote and participate.” -Coons on NBC’s “Meet the Press”
—QUOTABLE: “I hope everyone running for the House in these purple districts will be asked the question, ‘Do you support impeaching Judge Kavanaugh based on five allegations, none of which could be corroborated?’”
