Jazz Jennings is living her best life. The transgender teen recently had gender confirmation surgery and shared the details with ABC News’ Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang. Born a male, the 18-year-old started transitioning to female at the age of five and began sharing her story publicly at the age of six. She told Juju that she believes she was “given this platform for a reason and that [she] has a strong and powerful voice” to be an advocate for others. Jazz underwent surgery in June and although there were some challenges, she is happy with the results. Jazz’s emotional journey can be followed on the TLC show, I Am Jazz.
WWE superstar Charlotte Flair is being sued by her ex-husband, Riki Paul Johnson. Johnson claims the book—Second Nature—that was written by the Charlotte and her father, WWE star Ric Flair, defamed him by “falsely claiming he shoots blanks.” The book also states there was “physical and/or psychological abuse” in the relationship, which Johnson also says is false. He believes the WWE should be held liable as well because they were involved in the marketing of the book. He is seeking $5 million in damages from the Flair family and the WWE. There has been no comment from either party being sued.

While leaving dinner in L.A. Tuesday night, the driver escorting Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez clipped a paparazzo, sending the photographer to the ground. Video shows the driver stopping to check on the guy — and used the opportunity to tell them this is what happens when they use so many flashes: he can’t see where he’s going. The LAPD did receive a formal complaint from the photographer, but law enforcement says it’s illegal to block a car and the driver has the right to creep forward.
Guns ‘n Roses guitarist Slash and his now ex-wife Perla might not be on the best of terms. She threw a “Happy Divorce Party” — and it was quite the production. She dressed as Zsa Zsa Gabor and her son London came as Tommy Lee, who played with his band Classless Act. Mom at one point played the drums. Rounding things out was a cake with one tier squashing a Slash doll with the words “Happy New Beginnings Perla” written in frosting on the top.
Rapper TI has released a controversial new music video, depicting him behind the desk in the Oval Office and a Melania Trump lookalike stripping down in front of him. Fans and Trump-foes say it’s just tat for Trump’s boorish tit. But potential 2020 presidential contender Julian Castro says the video goes too far — family of political players should always be off limits, he says.
We now know how ABC is handling the departure of Roseanne Barr from her self-titled sitcom reboot re-branded as “The Conners.” Last month she suggested she’d be off’ed by an opioid overdose, and that’s exactly what happened. The story was wrapped up in the opening minutes of the show, and the dysfunctional family quickly moved on. Roseanne has been producing an interview talk show on her Youtube channel.
Ariana Grande seems to be doing okay in the days after calling off her engagement to SNL star Pete Davidson. She recorded a pre-taped song for a TV special about Broadway hit musical “Wicked.” Friends report she’s given back the $100,000 engagement ring, but she’s keeping the couple’s teacup pig. Davidson, however, was supposed to perform at Temple University tomorrow, but he pulled out.
La La and Carmelo Anthony are working things out, after separating in 2017. According to TMZ, La La and the NBA star blamed their separation on a “rough patch” they went through last year, but neither went as far as filing for divorce. La La recently told People that they are “figuring out how to make it work” and focusing on what’s best for their 11-year-old son Kiyan. The couple—still married—were together for 15 years before the separation.
A feud is brewing among the WWE Divas. Nikki Bella—part of the Bella Sisters duo—has called out Ronda Rousey, claiming she has “done more for women’s wrestling than Ronda EVER has.” The feud began when Nikki “betrayed” Ronda last week by teaming up with her twin sister Brie Bella to “stomp Ronda out”. Ronda told TMZ Sports that the move was done by a bunch of “untrustworthy bitches.” While the matches are all scripted, this match seems to have boiled over to outside the ring.
Justin Bieber is reportedly not over his ex, Selena Gomez. A source revealed to Cosmo that she “was his first great love and while he was young and traveling around the world as a superstar, he learned a great deal from her.” Since the news of Gomez’s hospitalization, Bieber has been spotted at church looking distraught and crying outside of his pastor’s house. The source added that they believe the 24-year-old “may or may not have made a mistake with his recent marriage” to Hailey Baldwin. This news comes just a few days after another source told Us Weekly that despite appearing happy within his newlywed status, the singer “doesn’t feel whole.”
Hilary Duff is done being pregnant! The 31-year-old, who is expecting a little girl with her boyfriend, Matthew Koma, posted that she is trying to induce labor. One of the photos she shared, was of a salad—from Caioti Pizza—that supposedly kick-starts labor. An employee from the restaurant told E! News that “women have eaten this salad—called The Salad—and gone into labor, its what Caioti Pizza is known for.” No word yet if the salad worked its magic for Duff.
Tara Reid had a rough time getting to New York yesterday. She was booted from a Los Angeles-based flight after throwing a temper tantrum for being put in the wrong seat, then later for not getting a pillow. While flight attendants tried to cool her down, the pilot returned to the gate and had her kicked off. She says she was just annoyed at the person in front of her reclining too far — she got on a later flight.
Mac Miller’s death was the tipping point that began the end of Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande’s engagement. She was distraught about her ex-boyfriend’s apparent drug overdose, and had tried repeatedly to get him into rehab. Following the death it caused her to re-evaluate her relationship with Davidson, realizing she rushed into it; the pair did get engaged after dating only briefly.
MEANWHILE — bystanders say the pair were all hugs and kisses during SNL on Saturday night. There was apparently no big blowup sending them apart; it was just time.
Nicole Kidman says marrying Tom Cruise when she was 22 years old protected her from sexual harassment or abuse. Talking to New York Magazine, Kidman says she married for love, but also for protection, and that she doesn’t like talking about that marriage because she’s now madly in love with husband Keith Urban. But during their 11 years together, she knew no executive or actors would mess with the wife of a box office powerhouse like Cruise.
LeBron James joined Drake and Travis Scott on stage in L.A. on Saturday night. The newly named “King of L.A.” jumped and danced while Drake and Travis performed the song “Sicko Mode”, from Travis’ new album, Astroworld.
MEANWHILE—Drake opened up to LeBron on the NBA star’s HBO show, The Shop. He showed the host a photo of his son and commented on his “crazy blue eyes.” The new father also discussed his non-romantic relationship with the child’s mother. Drake said, “I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments. I don’t have any desire for him to like not love his mother. I’m just really excited to be a great father.” During the interview, the 31-year-old did not name his son or his son’s mother.
Joe Giudice’s daughters are vowing to fight for their dad. A judge recently ruled that the 46-year-old will be deported upon his release from prison in March. On Sunday, Joe’s 13-year-old daughter, Melania, posted some photos of her with her dad on Instagram. Along with the photos, she wrote, “We aren’t done fighting dad. We are gonna do everything we can to fight this daddy!!” Melania’s 17-year-old sister, Gia, also posted a video of a man calling for an appeal on the deportation ruling and captioned it “Spread the word, [couldn’t have] said it better myself.” Joe’s wife, Teresa, is trying to be “strong” for her daughters right now, a source told E! News.
Charles Manson’s bone fragments are headed to a haunted museum. Manson’s grandson, Jason Freeman, has donated the bones, along with his late grandfather’s hospital gown and coroner’s toe tag to Zak Bagans’ Vegas Haunted Museum. The museum is already home to Manson’s teeth and two paintings; one that contains his urine and the other, his ashes. Freeman donated the items because “holding on to them at his home triggered paranormal activity, like weird noises.”
Roger Mathews is working hard at winning back his wife Jenni “JWoww” Farley. The 43-year-old shared a photo of the two at dinner on Saturday, with the caption, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” The duo was reportedly celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary, with a romantic dinner and horse-drawn carriage ride. The Jersey Shore star filed for divorce from her husband in September to which Mathews responded with a video on Instagram, claiming he was going to win her back.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have history, it turns out. The retired baseball pro shared a picture to Instagram of an autographed pic of J. Lo signed “to Alex” circa 20 years ago, well before he was a household name. He says he was “just a young ball player.” Even Jen chimed in with an Insta comment, replying “OMG!! Who found that??”
Britney Spears made a major announcement on the Ellen Degeneres show on Friday: which is that she’s making a major announcement on October 18, when a video with all the details will appear on Ellen’s youtube channel. Britney could be due for another Vegas residency, or possibly be putting out new music. Or something else entirely.
Singer Michael Buble says he’s retiring from showbusinesses. He’s been promoting his forthcoming album, “Love,” but once that’s done he’s out of the celebrity limelight. Buble says his five-year-old son’s successful battle with cancer changed his life and his priorities, and he doesn’t have the stomach to handle the challenges of celebrity. He says he’s leaving on a high note though, calling “Love” a “perfect record.” MEANWHILE–Buble’s rep says the singer “is absolutely not retiring. He is not going anywhere.”
Justin Bieber is struggling with the news of Selena Gomez’s recent hospitalization. According to sources, he “isn’t taking the news well” and has been caught crying in public, by paparazzi. Another source told Us Weekly that “he still loves Selena as a friend and is praying for her.” The singers dated on and off for a few years, but broke up for the final time this past spring. Justin has since married Hailey Baldwin.
