Rae Carruth, Released

The disgusting human named, Rae Carruth, has been released from prison. In 1999, the former NFL wide receiver hired a hitman to kill his then pregnant girlfriend, Cherica Adams. Cherica was shot four times, but managed to call 911. An emergency c-section was performed to save the baby, but Cherica passed away 4 weeks later. Rae was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempting to destroy an unborn child and discharging a firearm into occupied property. He was sentenced to 18-24 years and served 19 of those years. In a recent interview, Rae said he is “excited to get out of prison but nervous about how he’ll be received by the public.” Boo-hoo-hoo for the poor ex-con.

Pee Wee’s Big Night

Jovan “Pee Wee” Clayton was arrested last Thursday on an outstanding domestic battery warrant. The former member of The Rej3ctz, couldn’t care less about the impending arrest, as he was focused on his lady friend who he was going “f**k the s**t” out of—which explained the three boxes of condoms found in the trunk. His plan drastically changed when it was revealed that the woman with him was actually a confidential informant who had just “dropped the dime” on him. Pee Wee was booked on felony domestic abuse and his bail was set at $100,000.

Child Actor Arrested

Former child actor Jason James Richter was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. He spent two nights in jail before being released on $20,000 bail. TMZ was told by Richter’s people that he got into an argument with his girlfriend, which then escalated into a physical altercation, prompting her to file a police report. The 38-year-old has been charged with one count of vandalism—for a door that was broken during the dispute—and one count of battery on a significant other with no physical injury. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail. Richter starred as Jesse in the films, “Free Willy” and “Free Willy 2”.

Hip-Hop Star Arrested

Erica Mena and her boyfriend were arrested last weekend. The Love & Hip-Hop star was arrested for possession of weed, while her boyfriend Clifford Dixon, was arrested for criminal trespassing. The cops were called by the couple’s roommates when an argument between the two got out of hand. After talking to witnesses, the cops determined that Mena had locked herself in a bedroom and Dixon allegedly kicked down the locked door; Dixon denied this series of events. In the end, Mena and Dixon were both hauled off to jail. No word on if they have been released or are still sitting in the slammer.

Harrell Goes to Jail

Former 3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell is going to spend 10 years in prison for possession of a firearm by a felon. It’s the max sentence. The conviction stems from a domestic abuse complaint made by his wife; when cops showed up, they found the gun and drugs. His felony status is the result of a 2013 drunk driving incident that killed the other driver in 2013 and another DUI in 2014.

Former Idol in the Slammer

Former American Idol contestant, Antonella Barba, was arrested for trying to distribute heroin. According to TMZ, the singer was busted last week in Virginia and is being charged with felony heroin distribution of 100g or more. The 31-year-old is being held without bond and a court date is set for this week. No word from Barba’s rep about the incident.

Shopping While Black

Kool G Rap was charged with stealing a pair of pricey shoes from a Finish Line in Pennsylvania. The charges were later dropped and the hip hop legend is claiming it all happened for one reason…he is black. Kool G was accused by an employee of the chain, who described the thief as an African American male in his 40s. The rapper, who was shopping at the mall that day, was tracked down after the employee wrote down his vehicle’s registration number. The cops charged the 50-year-old with misdemeanor theft. Kool G’s attorneys claimed the cops never investigated it and “were just on the hunt for a black man.” The case was dropped after prosecutors determined the employee couldn’t identify Kool G as being the thief. The rapper’s legal team is preparing a massive lawsuit against Finish Line.

Lenny Dykstra Indicted

Ex-MLB superstar Lenny Dykstra has been indicted on three serious crimes—”possession of cocaine, possession of meth and making terroristic threats.” Dykstra was arrested in May after allegedly threatening his Uber driver with a gun. Upon arrest, no gun was found in the ex-baseball player’s possession but the cops did find some cocaine and meth. The 55-year-old tried to tell police that he was kidnapped by the Uber driver and he was fearful for his life, but the grand jury clearly didn’t buy that story and moved forward with the three charges. If convicted, Dykstra is looking at 3-5 years in prison per charge.

Bachelor Alum Pleads Not Guilty

Amanda Stanton has entered a plea of not guilty in her Las Vegas domestic violence case. The former Bachelor contestant’s attorney entered her plea at the Clark County courthouse after Stanton was officially charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery. The charge stems from an incident, involving the mom of two and boyfriend Bobby Jacobs, that occurred last month in a Vegas hotel room. Stanton’s rep told TMZ the whole situation was a “misunderstanding.”

Katt Williams Arrested

Comedian Katt Williams had a rough weekend. He was arrested for allegedly hitting a driver who was supposed to transport him to a performance in Oregon.

Katt was mad when the driver wouldn’t also take his dog, the report alleges. The driver has minor cuts and bruises to his face. Katt fled in another vehichle. Once police tracked him down they discovered he has an out-of-state warrant for an outstanding unrelated felony in Georgia.

“The Situation” Gets Sentenced

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been sentenced to 8 months in prison. Sorrentino and his brother, Marc Sorrentino, were initially indicted in September 2014 for tax offenses and conspiring to defraud the United States. In April 2017, charges of tax evasion, structuring and falsifying records were added to the indictment. 

The Jersey Shore star appeared in court alongside fiancé Lauren Pesce on Friday, where he received the judge’s ruling. Some of his Jersey Shore co-stars attended the hearing for moral support, as well.  The 36-year-old has 30 to 60 days to surrender. His plan during that time is to marry his college sweetheart. The nuptials will be aired on MTV.

Driving Reckless

Marion “Pooch” Hall was arrested for a DUI and felony child endangerment last week. The actor was reportedly seen driving, with his 2-year-old son on his lap, when he collided into a parked vehicle. According to Burbank Police, “Mr. Hall displayed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication” and his son was “riding in the vehicle unrestrained.” The 41-year-old was held in the Burbank County Jail, but has since posted the $100,000 bail and been released. There has been no comment from Hall or his team regarding the incident.

Suge Knight sentenced

Suge Knight will spend 28 years behind bars for the murder of Terry Carter in 2015. Last month he pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter and agreed to the sentence before the trial was slated to start a few days later. Knight hit Carter with his car during a chaotic scuffle near a Compton burger stand while filming promotional materials for the film “Straight Outta Compton.”

Amy Schumer Arrested

“Comedian” Amy Schumer got arrested while protesting Brett Kavanuagh in Washington DC on Thursday. Video on social media shows a police officer asking her if she wants to get arrested — she answers “yes.” She was holding an “I believe Anita Hill” sign. No word on what the specific charge.

It’s worth noting that Schumer is cousins with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Werth DUI Video

Nationals outfielder Jason Werth got a DUI in April, and video of the police encounter has surfaced. The video shows Werth trying to talk his way out of the arrest on account of his pro-baseballer status. When the cop wanted to get him to walk the line for a sobriety test, Werth refused and said, “A lot of people have gotten into a lot of trouble assuming that police officers have their best interests [at heart].” That’s when he was taken into custody. He ultimately registered a .12 Blood Alcohol Content level and was sentenced to a diversion program.

Birdman, Bad Man?

The man serving jailtime for shooting up Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus in 2015 received an odd call from rapper Birdman while in the slammer. A transcript of the call reveals Birdman telling Jimmy Winfrey, “Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do, boss.” The idea being Winfrey was paid off by Birdman to go after Lil’ Wayne. But Birdman says “no way” — he doesn’t even think Winfrey is responsible for the shooting and he would in no way have been with Lil’ Wayne.
FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH — Winfrey’s conviction was overturned in July based on a biased jury; he’s awaiting either a new trial or new plea deal.

Sarah Palin’s Son Arrested

Track Palin was arrested again. The 29-year-old was charged with domestic violence after an alleged confrontation with a woman at his home. According to CNN Sarah Palin’s son has denied any wrong doing. This is not Palin’s first run in with the law. He was arrested after an alleged confrontation with his dad Todd Palin and has a previous domestic violence charge along with possession of a weapon while intoxicated. Palin took a plea in his earlier arrests, resulting in some of the charges to be dismissed. The latest arrest came just one day before his sister Willow Palin tied the knot. The Palin Family has yet to comment on the incident.

Cardi B Surrenders

Cardi B turned herself in on Monday, in connection to a strip club fight. According to TMZ, the rapper will be charged for allegedly ordering an attack on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens, NY. Cardi had a “long-standing beef” with the bartenders—who are also sisters—because she believed one of them had slept with her husband, Offset. While at the club, she allegedly told her “posse to attack them”. Both bartenders sustained injuries, but refused medical treatment. The 25-year-old was not placed under arrest, but received a summons to appear in court on the charges.
