Butler a Major Distraction for the T-Wolves

Minnesota
Timberwolves shooting guard Jimmy Butler is seeking trade and has stayed away
from the team all offseason and has yet to play in any preseason games.

The team canceled
their regular practice after Butler and a handful of reserves beat a team made
that included two of the T-Wolves best players Karl Anthony-Townes and Andrew
Wiggins in a scrimmage. After the scrimmage emotions boiled over between
Butler, GM Scott Layden and head coach Tom Thibedeaux.

Cancelling
practice along with the regular daily press briefing showed that T-Wolves are
trying to keep the Butler situation from becoming a major distraction.

Too late.

The Miami
heat have shown to be the most aggressive in trying to facilitate a trade for
the 29 year old Houston native.

Whatever transpires
its unlikely hell be in a Minnesota uniform when they open their 2018-19 campaign
against San Antonio on Wednesday.
