Packers Stand Behind Crosby

Despite a nightmarish
Sunday in Detroit that saw him miss four field goals and an extra point the
Green Bay Packers are showing unwavering support for Mason Crosby.

The normally
reliable kicker missed field goals of 41, 42, 38 and 56 yards and the PAT in
the31-23 loss.

Prior to
Sunday Crosby had made 10 of his last 11 field goal attempts and even drilled a
58 yarder in pre-game warm ups.

As he struggled
to find the line he tried making adjustments even changing his cleats at
one  point.

Crosby said
the was “blown away” by the support offered him by teammates including close
friend Aaron Rodgers who called him “one of the greatest kickers of all time.”

Crosby’s
misses weren’t the sole factor in the loss, the Packers were flagged 12 times
for 112 yards and lost three fumbles in the first half which the Lions
translated into 17 points.
