Over at the Washington Post, Jennifer Rubin offers a quick, ten-point roadmap to success for the Walker campaign. It’s short and it’s part electoral strategy and part messaging strategy.
Point four is compelling and encouraging:
4. Walker sets out a specific and compelling conservative agenda.
Governor Walker thrives on clearly explaining his vision, the rationale behind it, campaigning on it, then doing it — with success. That’s the story of the last four-plus years in Wisconsin, and we’ve documented it extensively here. It is perhaps his most Reaganesque quality.
He won’t have the national soapbox to do that until he’s not competing for every precious second on a shot-clock timer with nine other men.
